What Is Dos?

Dos stands for Disk Operating System and it is the fundamental program on any computer except Windows 95 users who though they have the facility to use dos, it isn't a necessary part of it's programming. Dos allows you to operate Windows 3.1. Without it, it wouldn't work and you wouldn't get anywhere. Taken by the example of a cheese sandwich. The bread makes the sandwich. In the same case, if you do not have dos (bread), you can't have Windows 3.1 operational (cheese). Therefore, no way of interaction and no sandwich.
